Valley Center Road and the orchards

Valley Center is unincorporated, north of Escondido. Valley Center Road is the spine. Cole Grade Road is the other name that shows up constantly on addresses. Orchards, nurseries, and widely spaced houses are normal here. There is a small commercial center, not a downtown skyline. Coverage is rural. The surcharge is $45 and the serve includes three attempts. Valley Center Road is the spine, with the small commercial center along it. Cole Grade Road is the other address people mix up with it. Nurseries and orchards mean the serve is often a yard, a barn office, or a house set back from the pavement, not a sidewalk door. There are few sidewalks. A gate and a dog are ordinary. Write which road, which side, and whether the person is at the nursery during work hours. Escondido to the south is four attempts and no $45. The line is the address, not the fact that both places use the same highway to reach Vista. Three attempts are what this price includes.

Base prices are unchanged: same day $195, next day $175, standard $150. The $45 is added. A standard Valley Center serve is $150 plus $45. Same day is $195 plus $45. Next day is $175 plus $45. Three attempts come with that total. A fourth attempt is not included the way it is a few miles south. The nearest courthouse is the North County Division in Vista. You get there through Escondido and Highway 78. East County in El Cajon is a much longer southern route. Vista is the nearest of the four divisions. No office sits on Valley Center Road. The company office is in Mission Valley, San Diego.

What three attempts include

An in-person serve puts a server at the address. Same day means the first attempt the day the order is accepted, during the business week. Next day means the first attempt by the next day. Standard means the first attempt within one to three days. Notes and a proof of service come with the three attempts. A declaration of due diligence is what follows if service is not made. San Diego County courts are mailed the proof of service/declaration for self-represented customers. All other courts get the proof back to you. You can place the order online. You do not need to call before ordering.

Call 619-399-3278 Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm PST. The company is licensed and bonded. After closing, the next business day is the start.

Service attempts are also made outside of these office hours.
