Stakeout
Stakeout is an add-on at $80 per hour, with a two-hour minimum. The minimum is billed even if the person is found sooner. The office confirms availability.
An add-on, not its own order
A stakeout is a wait at an address, added to a serve. It is not a service you buy by itself. The serve underneath is same day at $195, next day at $175, or standard at $150. The stakeout covers the time someone stays. The serve covers the attempts and the proof rules that go with those prices.
You will not find a stakeout that stands alone on the order form. Add the in-person serve, then add the hours. If you only need a search, that is skip tracing at $50 or $200 per individual. If you only need a filing, that is the court page. A stakeout without a serve is not an order we open.
Eighty dollars an hour, two hours minimum
The rate is $80 per hour. The minimum is two hours. Two hours is $160 before the serve price. The minimum is billed even if the person is found sooner. A serve in the first twenty minutes does not cut the bill back to a fraction of an hour. The two hours were the block we held.
Hours after the minimum are billed at the same $80. Tell us how long you want the wait to run. We do not invent extra hours after the fact, and we do not stay past what you authorized. If the person is not there when the block ends, the time is still billed. The serve’s remaining attempts, if any are left, happen under the serve you ordered.
We cannot promise they will be there
We cannot promise the person will be there. A stakeout raises the chance we are present when they come or go. It does not create that moment. Cars leave. Shifts change. People use another door. We watch the address you name for the hours you buy. We report what we see.
We do not promise a successful serve because you paid for a wait. The serve still depends on finding the named person and handing over the papers under the job you ordered. Paying for the hours does not promise a completed serve. If four attempts on the underlying serve are used without service, you can receive a declaration of due diligence for those attempts. The stakeout notes are part of the record of the wait, not a court order.
The office confirms the window
Call or email before you count on a particular evening. The phone is 619-399-3278. The email is rockstarprocessserving@gmail.com. Office hours are Mon–Fri, 7am–5pm PST. Tell us the dates, the time frame, and the location. We reply with whether someone can take that watch. An unconfirmed hour on the website is not a booking.
Service attempts are also made outside of these office hours.
Orders placed after closing are processed the next business day. A stakeout request sent at night is not a server in a car that night. A specific date and time add-on, at $30, is the smaller option when you need an attempt inside a window and nobody has to wait. If the window requires waiting, the stakeout is the line that matches the work.
Address limits and other fees
The wait happens at one location. An extra person at that same address, on the underlying same day, next day, or standard serve, is $40. That fee is about the serve, not about the hourly rate. Rural outlying towns still add $45 and change the attempt count on the serve to three. Extra-rural back country is $100 and two attempts, and you must call before ordering those.
A military base is not a normal curb. Base service is a $65 add-on, and the base has to approve the attempt. We do not stake out a gate we are not allowed to use. Printing is $.30 per page after the first 40 pages. We do not give legal advice about whether a stakeout helps your case. We sell the time, and we show up if the office confirmed it.

Add a stakeout to a same day, next day, or standard serve. It is not a standalone order, and the office confirms the hours first.
