Port, boulevard, and a small downtown

National City is a small city between downtown San Diego and Chula Vista, and a lot of its work faces the bay. The National City Marine Terminal is a working port. National City Boulevard, the Mile of Cars, is the commercial strip. Interstate 5 cuts through. Plaza Boulevard is the downtown cross street. These are standard-coverage addresses. Four attempts. No rural surcharge. The marine terminal is a working port, with gates and shift changes, and it is not the same job as a house west of Interstate 5 or a dealership on the Mile of Cars. Business serves on National City Boulevard need the shop name and the hours. Residential streets are smaller and closer to the bay. Plaza Boulevard's downtown blocks are a third pattern, low buildings and short walks. If the person works at the port and lives in the city, those are two addresses. This page covers both at the metro price. Put the one you want attempted on the order, and put the hours next to it.

The nearest San Diego Superior Court division is South County in Chula Vista, just south. The Central Division in the 1100 Union Street area is north, and it is a bit farther than the Chula Vista courthouse. For a National City serve, South County is the nearest of the four. The office is not on the Mile of Cars. It is in Mission Valley.

Door service and the proof

An in-person serve is the server at the address. Prices are same day $195, next day $175, and standard $150. Same day means the first attempt the day the order is accepted, as long as the order arrives during office hours. Next day means the next day. Standard means the first attempt within one to three days. Four attempts, notes, and a proof of service come with each. A declaration of due diligence is issued if those attempts do not serve the person. When you are self-represented, San Diego County courts get the proof by mail. Any different court gets the proof returned for the customer to file.
