The 78 between two cities

San Marcos sits on Highway 78 between Vista and Escondido. Cal State San Marcos is on the north side of the freeway, Twin Oaks Valley Road climbs away from the campus, and San Marcos Boulevard holds a long stretch of businesses. Discovery Lake is the park people name when they are giving directions in the center of town. The whole city is standard coverage. Four attempts. No $45 rural line. Campus addresses and city addresses get confused. Cal State San Marcos has its own roads north of the 78. A dorm or a campus office is not the same as an apartment on San Marcos Boulevard or a warehouse near the freeway. Twin Oaks Valley Road climbs into residential streets that do not feel like the commercial strip. Discovery Lake is a landmark, not a service boundary. If the person is a student during the day and lives off campus, say which door you want. We attempt the address you give. We do not guess between the campus and a lease. Both, if you need both, are separate serves.

The nearest court is the North County Division in Vista, the next city west. It is a short trip on the 78, not a drive to downtown San Diego, and it is closer than El Cajon. San Marcos does not have its own Superior Court division. We serve the address. We do not choose the court. Servers leave Mission Valley. There is no San Marcos office.

Same three metro prices

The in-person prices are the same three used across the metro. Same day is $195 and starts with an attempt the day the order is accepted. Next day is $175. Standard is $150 and starts within one to three days. Four attempts are included. So are notes and a proof of service. A declaration of due diligence is what follows four unsuccessful attempts. The proof of service/declaration is mailed, for self-represented people, to San Diego County courts. Every other court gets the proof returned to the customer.
