Where the 52 stops

Highway 52 ends in Santee. A lot of addresses are near the Town Center trolley stop, the end of the Green Line, or along Mission Gorge Road toward the river. Santee Lakes, the park on the west side, is the other landmark residents use. None of these is a separate coverage zone. Santee is standard. Four attempts. No rural surcharge. The city line matters, because towns up the 67 are priced differently. Town Center, at the end of the 52 and the trolley, is the commercial core. Mission Gorge Road runs west toward the river and the lakes park. The east side of the city, out along the hills, is mostly houses. Those are all Santee and all the metro price. The 52 ending here means afternoon traffic stacks at the terminus. A same-day attempt still happens the day we accept the order, but a note about a shift change or a school pickup window helps the timing. Santee Lakes is a park address some people use as a landmark. It is not a substitute for the street number.

East County Division in El Cajon is the nearest courthouse, a few miles south. Central downtown is a longer drive through Mission Valley. Vista is not close. For Santee, El Cajon is the nearest division. The office is in Mission Valley, which is a direct shot from Santee on the 52, and then you are at Camino Del Rio North. That drive does not make the suite a Santee location. The suite is in San Diego.

Four attempts at the door

In-person service means the server takes the papers to the address. The $195 same-day option starts with an attempt that business day. Next day is $175. Standard is $150 and starts within one to three days. You get four attempts, the notes from them, and a proof of service. A declaration of due diligence follows if the attempts run out. Proofs of service/declarations are mailed to San Diego County courts for self-represented people and returned to the customer for every other court.
